The winners of the 2020 Logroño International Architecture and Design Festival have recently been announced. From the 29th April to 3rd May, the Riojan capital will be the epicentre of creativity and originality thanks to proposals submitted from all four corners of the globe.
As usual, our vineyard will welcome the only installation located outside the historic city centre. This year, the installation named LAN-4, created by the Mexican artist Alejandro Ramírez, will be comprised of an imposing monolith rising above our vines in Viña Lanciano, on the banks of the River Ebro in El Cortijo. This year, the installation will be located on the path to our organic parcel, near to the remains of the Mantible Bridge. The winning design is based on the abstract development of a wine bottle. Its elongated shape will create a tower as a landmark on the edge of Viña Lanciano, and it will be covered in mirrors that will reflect the landscape and contrast with the wooden interior.
