Oasis of butterflies at Viña Lanciano

Our vineyard, Viña Lanciano welcomes an Oasis of butterflies, a becoming space for these insects and other pollinators. The goal is to contribute to the preservation of butterflies against their main threat for which purpose an enclosure area in the vineyard – next to Mantible Organic plot – has been arranged with nutritional plants to attract both adult butterflies and caterpillars. There are fourteen varieties of plants, among which are lavender, sage, rosemary, thyme, ruta or fennel.
This initiative is part of our policy of promoting biodiversity and sustainability and has been developed thanks to the collaboration with the Spanish Association for the Protection of Butterflies and their Environment ZERYNTHIA.
