Tim Atkin MW’s Rioja report 2020

The fifth edition of the annual report on our region has resulted in an avalanche of recommendations for LAN. Tim Atkin, famous journalist, wine taster and Master of Wine, has selected Culmen 2015, with 95 points, from all our wines as Wine of the Year in his selection of Rioja Reservas. It is followed by two of our estate wines: LAN A Mano 2016 with 94 points and Viña Lanciano 2015, with 93. He awarded 92 points to LAN Reserva 2014 and D-12 2016 and granted 91 points to the organic Xtrème 2015.

Tim Atkin has again classified the wineries of the D.O.Ca. Rioja into five categories. LAN has managed to retain its position in the third echelon, after rising from fifth position in the list in 2016.
