VINEYARD

We work the vineyard organically, with all our love and respect for traditional viticulture and opting to take care of our environment. The vineyards are our legacy for future generations and we are committed to leaving them better than we found them. We cultivate the vineyard respecting the natural cycles, prepared to respect and preserve the identity of each territory and transmit it to your glass.

VINTAGE

In 2020 we had a warm, dry winter, followed by a very hot, stormy summer. And the weather behaved itself during ripening, and gave us an exceptional harvest. The Rioja Council described the vintage as “Very Good”. What is really good is respect for the land.

PRODUCTION AND AGING

The difficult thing is harvesting the grapes by hand in 20kg crates, selecting them bunch by bunch, fermenting with the grape’s native yeasts and ageing for 18 months in new French oak barrels. The easy thing is feeling how all this conscious effort is transformed into sustainable pleasure.

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Intense garnet with bright rims that reflect nature and life.
NOSE: Intense aromas of ripe fruit with those spicy notes of black pepper and cocoa that transport you to the authentic.
MOUTH: Balanced, powerful and tasty, enveloping the palate with blackberry and blackcurrant flavours dancing with notes of vanilla and caramel.
