LAN strives for a winemaking process that is more harmonious with nature. For the last ten years we’ve been actively performing sustainable viticulture practices in our vineyards: promoting the plant’s natural defenses and working towards a vine microclimate that improves air circulation and luminosity in order to upgrade each cluster’s aeration and sun exposure.
We’ve never used chemical herbicides, minimized the application of phytosanitary products and fertilize our vineyard using natural mulch and manure. This has translated into a major improvement of our grape’s sanitary conditions and quality.
Sustainable viticulture leads us to more salubrious wines; wines that are healthier for the consumer and more eco-friendly by reducing soil erosion and enhancing plant fertility.
